One of the most efficient and effective ways to prepare for UCAT is to identify and work on your weaknesses. MedEntry makes this easy using an innovative retry feature for UCAT practice exams.
The retry feature gives you the opportunity to re-attempt questions you answered incorrectly on your first attempt at the UCAT practice exam. You can do this up to four times. This process will allow you to work on UCAT questions that you find difficult, thereby developing your skills. It allows you to get the most out of your UCAT practice exams.
To retry an exam, go to the UCAT practice exams section of the LMS. Beneath your results summary a section called “Retry this exam” will appear:
Once you click “Attempt now”, you will be shown the number of questions available for you to retry in each UCAT subtest:
The retry will contain both incorrect, and partially incorrect questions from the original UCAT exam attempt. For example, if you answered 3 of the 5 options correctly in a UCAT Decision Making Yes/No drag and drop question, the entire question will be available to retry. UCAT questions that were answered correctly will not appear in a retry exam attempt.
When you click “Next”, you will be able to attempt the UCAT exam as normal. Exam attempt retries do not contain a countdown timer, but you can choose to answer questions within UCAT time limits if you wish.
When you have completed a retry exam attempt, you will be able to see a summary of the UCAT questions answered correctly, and in which attempt other UCAT questions were answered correctly:
After completion of the UCAT exam retry, you will see a summary of your retries, and a link to retry the remaining incorrect questions:
You can retry a UCAT practice exam up to four times!
