Getting into medicine and dentistry is a complicated process. Part of this includes navigating the various university interview offers that are released at different times. MedEntry can help!
Below is a table of the various universities offering interviews for medicine and dentistry undergraduate courses around Australia and New Zealand, the interview type, interview offer dates and actual interview dates. Since universities tend to change the dates at short notice, and interview dates can vary depending on the type of applicant (for example, rural or international) you are advised to check the specific university website for latest information.

Rural Applicants
Universities typically prioritise rural applicants and often include them in the first round of interviews alongside local applicants, even if they are interstate students.
Courses not conducting interviews for 2026 entry
The following programs will not hold interviews entry into medicine for 2026 entry:
- Griffith University (provisional medicine)
- University of The Sunshine Coast (Pathway to Medicine – provisional entry to Griffith)
- Flinders University (provisional medicine)
- University of Tasmania
- Otago University
University of Melbourne chancellor's scholars program
This undergraduate-to-graduate pathway offers guaranteed entry to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) following completion of an undergraduate degree. Students accepted into this program will conduct an MMI interview in their final undergraduate year, not during the initial application process.
