Overall UCAT score given more consideration than individual subtest scores. SJT also taken into account. All entry requirements considered for awarding interviews.

King’s do not use an exact UCAT cut-off score as the UCAT is used in conjunction with GCSE when shortlisting candidates for interview.

Personal Statement

Personal statements are used as part of the interview shortlisting process. However, it is expected that candidates will demonstrate their commitment to medicine and ability to communicate and work well within a team. An applicant’s interests, achievement and contribution to their wider community are also taken into account.
