How does the group discount work?
When you click 'order now' under the platinum package, you will be taken to a page that requests which type of purchase you would like to make. Click on 'Group Platinum'. This will take you to a page where you must enter the names of the other members of your group. All group members must pay within three weeks.
Please note that each member of your group must place an individual order via the website, and must pay individually. If you wish to pay together, each group member must still place an individual order, and select 'money order' or 'cheque' as the method of payment. When sending the combined money order or cheque, please include the names of all the group members.
Please note that while all members of the group need to purchase the platinum package, the date and location of the workshop can vary between group members.
Please note that group discounts cannot be obtained retrospectively, that is, if you purchase the Standard Package and later find a group, you will not be able to obtain a Group discount / refund.

How does the past student discount work?
If you are a student who has done MedEntry's 2008 Diamond, Platinum or Distance Package, you will be able to purchase the 2009 Platinum or Distance Package at a discounted rate.
To obtain this discount, please email us with your first name, surname, last year's purchase ID and a brief message.
Please note that you will need to put through a new order and receive a new MedEntry reference number for your enrolment to be processed.

How
does the career teacher-nominated discount work?
If you are interested in this discount offer,
please approach your careers teacher. Your careers teacher will
be able to nominate one student from your school
who faces financial and / or social disadvantage and would benefit
by participating in the program. This nominated student will get
a discount code from their careers teacher to use on the website.
If you are nominated, you will need to click ‘order
now’ under the platinum package. This will take you to a page
that requests which type of purchase you would like to make. Click
on ‘Teacher nominated Platinum’.

How else does MedEntry
help disadvantaged students?
MedEntry recognises that students from rural and
remote areas face special difficulties in accessing services. To
help redress this, MedEntry offers a workshop in Mildura, located
in rural Victoria. If there is sufficient demand, MedEntry will
run workshops in other rural, remote and regional areas.

Why doesn’t MedEntry offer two year deals?
MedEntry does not believe in 'two year deals' for several reasons:
- A one year program is sufficient if you are in Year 12. We believe in the efficacy of our program.
- If you are in Year 11, we strongly recommend you do not purchase a two year program and lock yourself in. Why purchase a two year package when you do not know the quality of the materials?
- We are so confident in the quality of our services that we know you will come back to us in the event that you need to re-enrol in a UMAT course. Those who offer two year deals do so because they know students will not come back to them, due to the poor quality of their services.
Note that if you wish to re-enrol in a MedEntry course for another year, we offer a substantially discounted price for past students.
